How does Doppler work?

Doppler has two key components:

PANEL CONTROLS:
• App Select
• Play / Pause / Next / Previous Track
• Ducking Control
• Settings

HOTKEY:
This acts as a replacement for your spacebar. When pressed it plays/pauses the timeline and will play/pause or duck your music but don’t worry your spacebar keeps exactly the same functionality as before.

What streaming services does Doppler support?

Doppler currently supports Spotify (Desktop App), Music (Desktop App) & Chrome (Web Players): Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Soundcloud, YouTube & YouTube Music.

Does Doppler work on Windows?

Not yet. The feedback from the Mac release will shape the next version of Doppler which will be shipped alongside a Windows release.

Can I use Doppler to skip tracks while I’m working?

Yes. The panel includes Play / Pause / Next / Previous controls so you never leave After Effects.

Will Doppler mess with my existing hotkeys?

No. Doppler uses its own hotkey assigned by you. Everything else inside of After Effects stays untouched.

Does Doppler affect audio levels in After Effects?

No. Doppler controls your actual music app, not the audio inside After Effects.
