The latest version of Fresh Trim has several new improvements under the hood. For example, Trim to Above and Below now supports several non-contiguous selections.

Move & Shift Layers: Effortlessly reposition layers for a seamless workflow. Eleven of the fifteen modes now offer the option to move layers to align them according to different attributes while maintaining relative spacing.

Move the entire layer or only move the inpoint or outpoint while keeping the opposite end of the layer in the same location.

Settings: Customize tools to move layers according to user preferences. Example: move layers to the CTI according to the selected layer’s inpoint, outpoint, or always ask.

Trim Modes – In all the modes, you can trim the in-point and out-points of a layer by clicking the correlating button, and trim only the in-point by holding CTRL/CMD or the out-point using ALT.

Trim to Keys
Trim selected layers to the first and last keyframe on the layer.

Trim to Parent
Trim selected children to the parent layer.

Trim to Children
Trim selected parent layers to the first in-point and last in-point of all the child layers.

Trim to Matte
Trim the selected layers to the matte layer.

Trim to Matted
Trim selected matte layers to the first in-point and last in-point of all the matted layers.

Trim to Zero
Trim the selected layers to the first and last opacity or scale keyframes with a value of zero.

Trim to Selection
Trim the last layer selected to the first in-point and the last in-point of all the other selected layers.

Trim to Markers
Trim selected layers to the first and last marker on the layer.

Trim to Above
Trim the layer to match the layer above the currently selected layer. Only one layer can be selected.

Trim to Below
Trim the layer to match the layer below the currently selected layer. Only one layer can be selected.

Trim Selection to CTI
Trim selected layers to the CTI while maintaining the same layer offset or add frames to both the in and out points at the same time.

Trim to Comp
Trim selected layers to the length of the comp.

Trim to Work Area
Trim selected layers to the work area.

Trim Work Area to Selection
Trim the work area to the selected layers.

Trim Comp to Selection
Trim the comp to the selected layers. With no layers selected, the comp will be trimmed to the length of all the layers in the comp.
