Installation:
Copy Middle Measure.jsxbin to your After Effects ScriptUI Panels folder:

• Mac: /Applications/Adobe After Effects [version]/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels/

Access via Window menu > Middle Measure

Measuring within After Effects! Measure and find the middle in the comp using nulls, objects, layers and layer edges. Create dynamics expressions to auto center layers, generate lines between layers and more! Even in 3D!

No more having to manually figure out the distance between things in a comp, or eyeballing where the middle point is between layers or points in the comp. Middle Measure does it all for you! And you can use it to auto-center a layer between other layers!

Let Middle Measure help you find the distances, as well create expressions to dynamically center a layer between any two points or layers – even in 3D space! Dynamically create lines that are automatically drawn between layers, as well as expressions that will auto-rotate layers towards each other. With effect control sliders to adjust line attributes, center position bias, size and more.

Middle Measure will create nulls and targets and measure betwen them, or will use selected layers as well. Even when animated!

Plus it creates a Measurement Info display with access to Calculated Distance that other expressions can access.
