Nice Curves v1.0 script to create curved paths with advanced animation capability in After Effects

Generate elegant rounded paths, controlled by nulls. Similar to Illustrator’s “round corners” feature, but way more controllable, and nondestructive. Add as many control points as you need, fine-tune each one or control all of them at once, and create multiple paths per comp.

This section includes the Nice Curves version 1.0 script for After Effects, which is available for download on the site. This script will help you create curved paths with advanced animation capabilities. In other words, with this script, you’ll be able to easily create curved paths and apply complex and engaging animations to them.

Elegant rounded corners are hard to do with arbitrary shape paths

The inbuilt “Round Corners” effector is fine, but often gives you unequal-looking or sharp corners.

Nice Curves calculates corners with equal roundedness and lets you tweak the curve depth and roundedness for each vertex.

Works with After Effects CC2018 and up.
